List Of Bombing Victims Hospitalized From Monday’s Explosions Released

By SaharaReporters, New York

As police and other government security personnel continue to sift through the rubble following Monday’s terrorist attacks in Abuja, names of some of the victims were formally released by area hospitals.

SaharaReporters obtained a list of many of the victims, whose ages, gender, and professions vary. In the release, conditions of their wounds, treatment, and overall medical status remain a closely guarded secret, shared largely with closely related family members, or much of the information about each individual’s condition is unknown, and not issued publicly.

Nine area hospitals have taken-in the wounded from Monday’s car bomb blast. The hospitals and clinics, SaharaReporters has learned, include: Asokora District Hospital, Nyanyan General, National Hospital, the Abuja Clinic in Karu, Customs Hospital, Garki Hospital, Maitama District Hospital, and Pan-Raf Hospital.

Below is a listing of the hospitals caring for the wounded that was publicly released to the media late Thursday afternoon. SaharaReporters has redacted some of the personal information of victims recovering from various injuries.

Names of the wounded, where they are being treated, and at what hospital, can be found in the list provided here.
