Yiliang Roast Duck Festival set a new Guinness World Record

A new Guinness World Record was created on Monday at the Yiliang Roast Duck Festival. Over 3,000 ducks, weighing 3,690 kg, were roasted in 266 ovens. The roasted ducks were all given away to local nursing homes and low-income families.

SDMIT Cubers – A team lead by Prithveesh K created a New Guinness World Record, titled “Largest Dual Sided Rubik’s Cube Mosaic” finally measured 14.981 sq m (4,500 Rubik’s cubes). Event took place in Indraprastha Indoor Stadium, Ujire, Karnataka, India on 2nd October 2016. The mosaic is constructed vertically that depicts the images on both the sides using 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube only. The image of Charlie Chaplin and Mr.Bean was represented on two sides.
