A Tennessee woman who stands accused of killing her 3-month-old son is behind bars this week on first-degree murder charges, after spending two weeks in a hospital recovering from unspecified injuries. Knoxville police confirm in statements obtained by PEOPLE that Tierra Patrice Williamson, 19, has been charged with killing Adrian Howell, Jr., her son who was born on Aug. 1. The newborn died from blunt force trauma to the head on Nov. 17, according to police. The Knoxville News Sentinel reports that court documents indicate the child had injuries to other parts of his body that may have further contributed to his death.
